Preston Park

This kitchen renovation in Preston Park, Brighton combines bespoke joinery, expressive materials and carefully considered detailing to create a distinctive contemporary interior within a period home.

The design centres around a bespoke kitchen scheme, where cabinetry, lighting and finishes were developed as part of a cohesive interior rather than treated as individual elements. A dramatic marble worktop provides a strong focal point, balanced by bespoke cabinetry and carefully selected finishes that introduce warmth, texture and character to the space.

Attention to architectural detail continues beyond the kitchen itself. Bespoke glazing, integrated lighting and purpose-designed joinery help connect the kitchen with the surrounding interior, while a built-in window seat creates an additional place to sit and makes considered use of the available space.

Baxter Interior Design provided residential interior design, kitchen design, bespoke joinery, lighting and finishes specification for this Preston Park renovation, creating a highly individual kitchen that combines practical everyday use with a strong material and visual identity.
